I didn't take many pictures at beach, in part because I was nervous about damaging my nice camera, having already destroyed my point-and-shoot earlier in the summer (plus I destroyed a camera during a previous visit to OBX a few years earlier so I was a little weary). When I commented on the lack of pictures, Liz said "that's probably because you were too busy having fun to take pictures." That's certainly another possibility.
