We finally celebrated Jacob's birthday tonight (only two days late). Liz insisted on a different frosting color for each cupcake. As she inserted the candles she explained to us that before we blew them out them we needed to "make a wish that we can be close to Jacob." What a sweetie.

Jacob was in Adrienne and my thoughts last week... we were talking about past Trunk or Treats and she brought up how we'd taken Lizzie one year and it made me think of that October and everything you went through! I think celebrating his birthday each year is such a great tradition for your family!
