Lizzie's school held their Thanksgiving lunch on Vet's Day since a lot of parents have it off. Drew had to work so I went with the little girls. It was a hassle and, in the end, a total waste of time and money. We 30 minutes waiting in line to buy our turkey and stuffing. Then, within five minutes of sitting down Liz had to return to class. To make up for that lunch flop I met Liz the next day and had a much better experience. Next year I'll either skip the event all together or pack a lunch.
