The best thing about having Carrie and her family in town was the hang out time. All the kids slept in the basement together so it was pretty much a nine-night slumber party. They giggled and told stories and whatnot.
We also got to celebrate Clarissa's birthday with her (starting with a cinnamon roll breakfast).
We even got to go out for an adults only meal since Carrie has teenagers who could babysit. Fabulous. Makes me wish we lived closer to our families.
