We did the Color Me Rad 5K as a family on Saturday. Is was hard to get the kids up so early (5:30 a.m.), in part because most of them did NOT want to go participate in the race, but they enjoyed it by the end.
Ellie and Emma rode in the jogging stroller. Initially Drew pushed it while I "ran" with Lainey. Pretty soon, however, we realized that it was too hard for Andrew to keep with Liz because it was difficult to maneuver the bulky stroller around all the walkers. So, halfway through the race Drew left the stroller with Lainey and I so he could run with Liz.
