It's not a fashion show

This morning Lizzie wanted her to wear her hair down. I normally don't let her do this because I think it hangs in her face too much and looks messy, but we were running late so I said, "Sure, just remember to keep pushing it out of your face so it doesn't look too sloppy." She said, "Mom, it doesn't matter what your hair looks like at school. School is for learning not looking beautiful or cute. School is for learning."
