LEGO LAND!!!

While we were in San Diego our little family went to Lego Land. We went with a couple other families. Here are a few of our park buddies/cousins:
Going with extended family made everything more fun, even waiting for lunch.
Unlike Disney Land there were few rides that our entire family could go on. Most of them had maximum and minimum age limits (nothing there for teenagers) so it was either Liz by herself or Liz with an adult (Uncle Dan went on Kid Powered Tower with her in the shot below).
We did find a couple boat rides that we could all enjoy together.
We also all enjoyed seeing the Lego creations throughout the park. A life-sized car made out of Legos?! Impressive.
I especially liked Mini Land where we could look at scale-sized recreations of famous cities including Vegas, New Orleans, and NYC and famous landmarks like Mt Rushmore, the Eiffel Tower, and the Taj Mahal.
I liked seeing mini DC in particular. The detail was amazing. There was a moving parade and, of course, a moving motorcade.
Once again we let Liz get her face-painted.

She thought she was lost. Notice the purple tear streak.
Lego Land was a lot of fun and I don't regret going, but unlike Disney Land, I don't want to go back anytime soon. I'll wait till Liz is 10, Lainey is 5, and Ellie is 3. That way all the girls can have fun riding something.
