8 years old photo shoot

Nearly a month ago I had some pictures taken of Liz to celebrate turning eight and her upcoming baptism and confirmation. She seemed to have fun and we got some good shots of her despite her maddening tendency to do a weird fake smile whenever she sees a camera.Lizzie's friend Jordan shared the photo shoot. She was also baptised and confirmed the same day as Elizabeth. It took us three tries to get a proper confirmation dress for Liz. The first looked like it was cap-sleeved and white online. When it arrived it was sleeveless and cream-colored (my mistake). The second dress was borrowed from a friend of a friend. I didn't think it was modest enough and Liz said it itched. Finally, the third dress arrived with just days to spare. Lizzie liked it and it fit. Thank goodness.We had the photos taken at the George Washington Masonic Memorial. The girls loved running up and down these stairs.
