A day at the Smithsonian with house guests

Before all our house guests left town we had a little fun together. My parent's stay was the shortest, but while they were in town they played with the kids, went to Cafe Rio with us, and Papa walked around the lake with the grandkids. Before they left Liz told him it was a short walk, then when they'd been walking for awhile and he asked how much longer, she said, "Oh a long time. It's far."We had another day with Scott and Codi after Nana and Papa left and we spent it downtown at the Smithsonians. We visited the Air & Space and the Natural History museums. After the latter one the girls bravely held (or at least touched) insects in the bug section.Bug tunnel for the kiddos:We also spent some time relaxing by the sculpture garden's fountain before heading to one of Andrew's favorite DC barbecue joints. The girls especially liked dangling their feet in the fountain.
