10 years ago Andrew officially asked me to marry him. I say officially because we had become unofficially engaged roughly three months earlier while throwing pots in the BYU pottery lab (and we had already picked a date and reserved the temple).
I didn't realize it we made things official on Groundhogs Day until my future mother-in-law pointed it out. "Now you'll always remember the exact day you got engaged," she said. She was right.

My in-laws always teased us for getting un-officially engaged. We too had the date and my dress. I'm glad to hear that others are as crazy as we were. :)
