Growing Food

The other day Liz asked me, "Mommy, why am growing even though I don't eat my growing food?" Oops. I had told her if she didn't eat vegetables she would not grow, but lately have run into some old friends and acquaintances who have remarked on how big she has gotten. I told Liz she was growing because I hid growing food in her regular food. Yesterday when I served her pancakes full of bananas, she looked at them suspiciously and asked, "Did you hide growing food in there?" Oh, no. Those are regular pancakes.
