YELLOWSTONE RECAP DAY 2

On the second day of our trip we started out our site-seeing at Old Faithful (after all you wouldn't go to Paris without at least looking at the Eiffel tower). Liz was initially scared of the geyser (not too surprising). She was worried that she might be sprayed with the hot water we said would shoot out of the ground. Of course, as soon as the geyser actually erupted she was excited and couldn't wait to see more. On Thursday we also saw the historic Yellowstone Lodge, took a scenic walk along the boardwalk to see other geysers and geologic wonders, and went on a long drive on one of the parks loops (I slept through half of this and Liz slept through most of it). It was on the drive that we first saw bison and elk.

Andrew hates it when Lizzie puts her hands in his face like this.
This was possibly Lizzie's favorite aspect of our accommodations: the "slide" where a banister should have been.
