That is such a GORGEOUS announcement! If I was having more kids I would have to ask where you got it done :)

Jill first of all congratulations on yet another beautiful grandchild.

I'm sorry to hear that you gone to the liberal side of the force (or dark side in the Star Wars vernacular). For the record I have voted cross ticket a number of times in my life and for Democrats at least once or twice for president.
I am proud of you for number of reasons regarding this last vote. Number one took both of your girls begin to educate them on the process number two you're willing to make your mind up independently and vote for what you believe is best for the country.
I'll give you my views quickly. I hope Obama doesn't get too crazy with the wealth redistribution or the idea that simply raising taxes so everyone pays "their fair share"is the solution to the current economic crisis. Both ideas have been tried at home and abroad without success. I'm referring to the fairly socialist policies of European governments and of course failure of communism in general.
I have to say I am quite proud the country has elected an African American as president. I'm old enough to remember in my lifetime the race riots of the 60s presidential candidates running on a specific platform of segregation and traveling to south in the early 70s and seen service stations still around with three restrooms men women and color. I'm quite excited to see in my lifetime that 150 years after the Civil War that disgraceful period of our history is coming to an end. Unfortunately for some to totally let go it will require some of the remaining baby boomers pass the other side
love
